Tyler A.
SEO Strategist (Semrush, Content Strategy, GA4, Digital PR, AI Search)
Search is changing. Google still drives traffic, but now AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude are answering millions of queries daily. Your content needs to work for both traditional SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to stay visible. That's where I come in. I'm an SEO and AEO writer with over a decade of experience creating content that ranks, converts, and gets cited by AI. I've written for USA Today's sports network, developed top-of-funnel content for WeVideo (a SaaS platform), and helped brands build domain authority through strategic, data-driven content. My approach is simple: I combine keyword research with natural, conversational writing that AI engines love to reference. I don't just stuff keywords and hope for the best—I write content that answers real questions, solves problems, and keeps readers engaged from the first sentence to the last CTA. I always start with research, not writing. Using tools like SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Answer the Public, I find what your audience is actually searching for—and what they're asking AI platforms. Then I craft content that's conversational enough for AI tools to cite but strategic enough to rank on Google's search results. I structure everything for maximum scannability with clear headers, concise answers, and logical flow because both human readers and AI algorithms prefer well-organized content. Finally, I track performance using Google Analytics and Search Console to see what's working and continuously optimize what's not. I write specifically for AI Search. (Great Tyler, what the hell does that mean?) Good question: It means I work hard to produce question-answer formats, natural language patterns, and content structures that AI tools love to reference as sources. I currently write middle-of-funnel content for WeVideo, a SaaS platform where I focus on creating educational resources that attract and convert users. Before that, I worked as an editor and reporter for USA Today High School Sports and TexasHSFootball.com, where I not only wrote hundreds of articles but also built our WordPress site's domain and topical authority from the ground up. I've managed editorial teams, optimized content across multiple industries—from education to sports to tech—and gained deep expertise in WordPress, content management systems, and SEO strategy. I hold an M.Ed. in Administration from Lamar University and a B.A. in Communications/Journalism from University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.
