GTM Engineer | Clay, Outbound Systems & Automation
I build GTM systems that help B2B teams find the right accounts, uncover actionable intelligence, and turn it into qualified pipeline. My work has contributed to: - $2M+ in qualified pipeline at John Snow Labs, with meetings booked at GE Healthcare, Medtronic, Johnson & Johnson, and Pfizer. - A $5M government deal opportunity originating from a meeting I booked for Pixel Pirate Studios, alongside meetings with Condé Nast and Fox. - 20+ qualified meetings per month through outbound for an enterprise healthcare AI company. - 2x more booked calls for a UK-based client using LinkedIn-sourced leads. ## The problem I solve Most B2B teams don't need another disconnected tool or another list of leads. They need a GTM process that connects data, research, qualification, and execution. That means knowing which accounts to target, finding the right people, understanding why they might buy, and getting that intelligence into the workflows where sales teams can act on it. I engineer those systems, from the underlying data and qualification logic to the automations that put everything into motion. ## What I build Data sourcing, enrichment & intelligence - Clay workflows for multi-source enrichment, research, and AI-powered personalization - Account and contact sourcing with custom data pipelines when conventional databases fall short - Bespoke scraping, entity matching, and company research for hard-to-reach markets - AI agents that extract, classify, and structure information from filings, websites, portfolios, and other sources Signal-based targeting & qualification - Buying signals, job changes, hiring activity, and other relevant account triggers - Custom ICP qualification, scoring, and prioritization systems - Research workflows that turn raw data into actionable account intelligence Outbound systems & activation - Cold email and multichannel campaign infrastructure - Personalized outreach driven by account data and relevant signals - Deliverability setup, mailbox management, and campaign testing - Workflows that connect qualified prospects to outbound execution GTM automation & orchestration - n8n workflows and API integrations - CRM workflows, lead routing, and automated alerts - Connected systems across Clay, CRMs, sequencing tools, and other GTM platforms - Documentation and handoff so your team can operate and extend what we build ## How I approach a GTM build My process follows six stages: 1. Diagnose — Understand your sales motion, existing tools, data sources, and process bottlenecks. 2. Define — Translate your ICP into account criteria, personas, qualification rules, signals, and scoring logic. 3. Source — Build the account universe using existing databases and custom sourcing where needed. 4. Enrich & Understand — Research accounts, identify relevant contacts, surface signals, and qualify opportunities. 5. Activate— Connect the intelligence to your CRM, outbound sequences, alerts, and sales workflows. 6. QA & Handoff — Test the system, document the workflows, and hand over something your team can operate. The scope depends on the problem. Sometimes that means building one high-impact Clay workflow. Other times, it means connecting the entire process into a working GTM system. ## Ways to work together - Focused builds: Clay workflows, enrichment, scoring, custom sourcing, and integrations. - Integrated GTM systems: End-to-end implementations connecting data, intelligence, qualification, and activation. - Embedded GTM engineering: Ongoing implementation and optimization as part of your revenue team. ## Tech stack Clay, Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Smartlead, Instantly, Email Bison, n8n, Apify, HubSpot, Attio, and LLM APIs. I work with B2B startups, scale-ups, and revenue teams that want more than disconnected tools and manual processes. Tell me what you're trying to build, what's breaking in your current GTM process, or where your existing tools fall short. I'll help identify the underlying problem and scope an appropriate solution. — Victor Kalu
