I'm a classically trained artist with 25 years of traditional work in oils, acrylics, and pencil. That foundation carried me into digital painting and concept design, and today I work across three lanes: hand-made art, AI-assisted art, and web-ready 3D game assets. My home turf is fantasy, sci-fi, and comic-book work. Concept art and illustration. Characters, creatures, props, environments, card art, and key art. My traditional pieces are done in line and acrylic, and digitally in Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint. AI-assisted art, done with a traditional workflow. I use AI generation as a starting point, then mask, inpaint, and paint over it by hand until it meets a professional standard. This gets you production-quality designs quickly. I'm always upfront about AI use: you'll know exactly which pieces involve it, and I'm happy to work fully by hand when a project calls for it. 3D game assets for the web. I direct Die On This Hill, a 3D browser game built with Three.js, React Three Fiber, and Rapier physics. I make it with AI coding agents working under my direction. For it, I packaged 39 AI-generated (Meshy) GLB models, optimized for the web, into the Hilltop Sci-Fi Kit, including a rigged pilot with 22 animation clips. The kit, a free sample, and the devlog are on my Ko-fi page (carbonfour). Recently I worked on a multi-milestone contract designing the look and HTML prototypes for the interface of a new AI system.
