Josephine A.

With 8 years of teaching experience and 14 years of performance experience, I am dedicated to fostering personal growth and enriching lives through music. My teaching approach combines discipline, responsibility, and empathy to nurture both skill and maturity in my students. I began teaching piano privately and in informal music schools during my teenage years. My performance background includes notable achievements such as Distinction in ABRSM Grade 8 piano and Grade 5 music theory exams. I have further developed my teaching skills through workshops, including training from Kawai Music School Japan. I received a full scholarship for the Music Education program at the Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta, graduating with honors. I then completed a Master’s degree in Piano Performance at Chengdu University, also with a full scholarship from the Chinese Government. Currently, I offer private piano lessons and collaborate with fellow musicians, continuously seeking opportunities to inspire students and advance my career in music education.
