Martin Miguel N.

I am Martín Nuñez, a Geologist and GIS Specialist with over 8 years of experience supporting mineral exploration, mining, oil & gas, and environmental projects. My expertise combines geological interpretation with advanced GIS workflows to transform historical reports, maps, and exploration datasets into accurate, structured, and decision-ready information. Over the past few years I've worked on projects involving: - Geological mapping and GIS analysis - Drillhole database compilation and QA/QC - Collar, survey, geology and assay data validation - Historical exploration data digitization - Georeferencing geological maps and sections - Drill target planning and exploration support - Terrain analysis using DEM, LiDAR and satellite imagery - Cartographic production and interactive web maps I have worked on mineral exploration projects involving the review of historical drilling reports, validation of collars and assays, identification of missing exploration data, and the planning of preliminary drill target programmes based on geological interpretation. I'm experienced with ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, QGIS, Global Mapper, Google Earth Engine and Python, and I enjoy solving complex geological and spatial data challenges with accurate, well-organized deliverables. Whether you need help building a drillhole database, digitising historical exploration data, producing high-quality geological maps, or carrying out GIS analysis for exploration projects, I'd be happy to help.
