Problem solving is a passion. My experience (research & work) has exposed me to advanced analysis of systems (CFD, FEA), which is backed up by my sound understanding of the first principles of mechanical engineering (kinetics, kinematics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, material selection). Electrical machinery, electronics and coding are fields which I have introduced myself to, and am now confident in working in a multidisciplinary environment. Besides putting my technical expertise to the test, I am involved in numerous other areas, including preparation of documentation and interaction with procurement and manufacturing. In my previous role as lead design engineer for special purpose machinery, while leading a small, dynamic team, I was primarily responsible for the conceptualization, design & development of a variety of machinery and components, ranging from simple static structures, to complex servo driven precision machinery. I aim for robust solutions which are easy to manufacture and are economically viable. Accordingly, I am able to prepare accurate 2D manufacturing drawings from the 3D models which I personally develop, and oversee and advise the process, all the way to buy-off of the end product.
