My name is Dillon Jones. As a well seasoned biologist, eco-evolutionary data wizard, and passionate science communicator, I am equally comfortable treading through a swamp in search of turtles, cleaning large geographic datasets for use in wildlife conservation, or producing educational videos on a wide variety of subjects. With over a decade of research experience, I have developed a robust data analysis and biostatistical background that compliments my boots on the ground conservation work. My roots are in field ecology, where I have tracked mud turtles in dynamic river systems, developed wildlife surveys for urban parks, and investigated hybrid zones for tadpoles, among many other projects. My research is primarily based in the reptiles and amphibians of Belize, but I have worked across taxonomic groups and locations. However, I firmly believe that it is not enough to just collect data, but to understand the stories it can tell.
