Matthew M.

I'm an award-winning writer based in Los Angeles. I've had my work optioned, shopped around at major agencies and production companies, and premiered at international film festivals. My development clients include HBO and Chris Hemsworth's production company Wild State. I studied screenwriting at the University of Michigan and comedy writing at the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles. I've worked in the entertainment industry for over a decade. I've worked film development roles that involved reading and analyzing screenplays, and I've helped judge screenwriting competitions, so I have a strong understanding of what makes a good professional script. I pride myself on writing with tight story structure, compelling characters, and naturalistic dialogue. I'd love to bring my experience from both sides of the industry to help make your story the best it can be!
