Who is visiting it? What are they looking for? What should they understand within the first few seconds? And what action do you want them to take? That gives us a much better starting point than simply choosing a template and filling in sections. For a service business, that may mean creating a clearer path from homepage to service page to enquiry. For a restaurant or clinic, it may mean making booking easy from mobile. For a campaign landing page, the whole page may need to focus on one message and one call to action. I try to keep the design clean and intentional rather than adding sections, animations, or effects just because the platform allows them. Design and build If you already have branding, copy, and a clear direction, I can work directly from that. If you only have a rough idea or a few reference websites, I can help turn those into a clear visual direction before the build starts. For larger projects, I normally begin with the homepage or a key page first so you can review the design direction before the rest of the site is completed. Once that is approved, I build the remaining pages and make sure the site works properly across desktop, tablet, and mobile. I also structure the website so normal updates are easy after handover. You should be able to change text, images, blog posts, CMS content, or basic page information without needing a developer every time. Webflow and Framer For Webflow and Framer projects, I can work from Figma or build directly from a reference and brand direction. I pay attention to responsive behaviour, reusable components, CMS structure, page consistency, and interactions so the site stays manageable as more pages or content are added later. Animations are used where they improve the experience, not where they make the site harder to use. Wix and Squarespace For Wix, Wix Studio, and Squarespace, I work on both new builds and existing sites. That includes layout improvements, mobile fixes, booking, forms, memberships, ecommerce, content structure, and platform-specific customisation. If Wix needs functionality beyond the standard builder, I can also work with Velo and custom integrations. How I work My process is straightforward. We start with a short brief and references. I create the visual direction and key page design. Once that is approved, I build the full site, test it across devices, connect forms, analytics, booking, CMS, or ecommerce features, and prepare it for launch. After launch, I provide a clean handover so your team knows how to update the site.
