Dane M.

I am a self-motivated and accomplished voice actor and voice-over artist with a fast turnaround. I can perform a variety of voices ranging from businesslike to cartoonish. I have spent the last 13 years working as an English teacher in Taiwan, where I have guided children of all ages to speak fluent and confident English. This job also gave me lots of experience in reenacting stories, bringing characters to life using a variety of voices. Before that, I trained telephone sales agents to speak assertively and convincingly, preparing them to achieve high sales figures. While in university, I was an academic assistant for students with disabilities, which often involved making audio recordings of class material for the visually impaired. Lastly, I have over 25 years of experience in composing, producing, and performing music. I was an original member of the Grammy Award-winning group Arcade Fire, and have traveled extensively as a performer.
