Please request and verify the license number of anyone you meet here at the California DCA license search website. Cross check that information with google searches, business listings, etc. I estimate 90% or more of the proposals you receive here are deceptive or outright scams. Upwork is inundated with people claiming to be licensed or outright stealing identities, and this site does very little to limit your exposure to it. Many times your job will reappear here weeks/months later as an illegal "review and stamp" request after the unlicensed person "finishes" their part. About me: I'm a licensed engineer (California only) specializing in wood framing and finding cost effective and architecturally/aesthetically pleasing solutions to structural engineering problems.
