Hello! I have over 6 years of experience with state and local SALES TAX consulting and compliance for e-commerce businesses. I specialize in sales tax compliance specifically, so I have been able to become an EXPERT in sales tax in the US for e-commerce businesses as I devote 100% of my time to this area. I provide services for nexus studies, sales tax risk assessments, tax registrations, voluntary disclosures, setup and maintenence of sales tax automation software (such as Avalara, TaxJar, Vertex, TaxCloud, and Taxify) and monthly/quarterly sales tax filing. Most of my clients use Shopify (and some other e-commerce platforms) and/or sell through marketplaces (such as Amazon, Ebay, Etsy, and Walmart). I DO NOT FILE INCOME TAXES AND/OR FEDERAL TAXES. NOTE: I am currently only accepting clients who sell online via Shopify. If you use Shopify and marketplace platforms in addition to Shopify such as Amazon, Walmart, Ebay, etc. I am accepting work for those clients as well. Additional prior experience: enrolled agent - can represent taxpayers. 3 years of experience with ACA compliance - preparation of 1095-C/1094-C forms. 2 years of experience preparing 1099 forms. 9 years of office experience using Microsoft programs such as excel, bookkeeping programs such as Quickbooks and Peachtree, and legal research experience using Westlaw and Checkpoint. I have legal research experience from working as a paralegal for 3 years at a law firm and 3 years at an accounting firm on the SALT team.
