Jan M.

Recruiter & Talent Sourcer with 6+ years of experience helping startups and businesses hire top talent across IT, Healthcare, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and more. I've worked across tech (Frontend, Backend, Full Stack, Data Science, AI/ML), marketing and sales, finance and accounting, operations, and admin for startups, agencies, and remote teams across the US and internationally. Over the years, I've sourced and screened candidates for dozens of roles across these industries, working with both fast-moving startups needing one hard-to-fill hire and businesses needing a steady pipeline for high-volume roles. How I work: I source using LinkedIn Recruiter, advanced Boolean strings, and X-Ray search to reach people who aren't actively browsing job boards. I don't just forward resumes — I screen for real skills, run initial interviews, and send over shortlists with clear notes on why each candidate is a fit. You shouldn't have to dig through 40 profiles to find the 3 that matter. I do that filtering for you. Tools I'm comfortable in: Bullhorn, along with several other client-specific and custom ATS platforms I've picked up on the job. I adapt quickly to whatever system a client is already using, so onboarding takes minutes, not days. Also comfortable with Boolean/X-Ray search, major job boards (Indeed, ZipRecruiter, niche communities), and Google Sheets/Excel for tracking. What you can expect working with me: Fast turnaround, honest communication (I'll tell you early if a role is hard to fill and why, instead of going quiet), and shortlists you can actually act on — not a pile of maybes. If you need someone to take sourcing and screening off your plate so you can focus on interviewing and closing, send me the role details and I'll get started.
