With close to a ten years of experience as a lawyer and a journo/writer, I've steered various projects across India. I am a trained lawyer with both experience in corporate law and pro bono litigation. I started off as a corporate lawyer and then moved to work for the Human Right Law Network, where I handled matters at the district courts, HC and SC pertaining to land, family law and criminal law. I moved to litigate in Bangalore in 2016, where I worked for Manthan Law, fully focussing on criminal trial. After this I worked for close to a year for DC, covering the Japanese Encephalitis deaths in Malkanjgiri, the dominant caste attacks in Nashik, the UP elections of 2016, the Jalikattu protests in Tamil Nadu, and more such events across the country. Following this, I studied for a year at ACJ. I joined Firstpost soon after in 2018, where I worked as the head of the multimedia and the social media team till June 2021.
