Virtual Assistant | Customer Service | Body Doubling Assistant

Hi, I’m Nilam, a Virtual Assistant / Operations Support with a background in Customer Support and Application Support. I support founders, entrepreneurs, and small teams with the kind of work that keeps everything moving: emails, scheduling, document updates, web research, data entry, and follow-ups. Most of my work is “ongoing, small tasks” that easily pile up: updating Google Docs and schedules, organizing files, drafting replies, monitoring updates, and keeping trackers clean, so you don’t lose momentum. What can I help you with ✅ Admin & Operations Support (day-to-day execution) - Updating internal docs, schedules, and simple trackers - Organizing folders, naming systems, and keeping files easy to find - Meeting prep support: agenda notes, action items, follow-up checklist ✅ Email Support & Communication Drafting - Drafting and polishing emails (follow-ups, confirmations, simple outreach) - Inbox support (sorting, preparing responses, clear handoffs) - Customer support email replies (clear, empathetic tone) ✅ Slides & Document Support (Google Slides / Google Docs) - Creating and updating Google Slides decks (training slides, meeting decks, simple visual structure) - Cleaning formatting and flow (headings, spacing, bullet hierarchy, clarity) - Compiling links/resources into a slide or doc format that’s easy to present ✅ Research, Resource Curation, and Data Collection (more detailed) - Web research for resources, providers, tools, events, grants/opportunities, or competitor references - Turning research into usable outputs: a clean link list (with short notes), or a simple Google Sheet tracker, or a structured Google Doc summary - When needed: collecting evidence via screenshots, saving sources, and organizing uploads in Google Drive folders - Quick “scan + extract” tasks: pulling key info from pages (pricing, requirements, contact details, timelines) ✅ Customer Support + Basic App Support (bridge between customers and tech) - Handling customer questions, shipping updates, and simple issue resolution - For app/website issues: reproduce steps, capture details clearly, and document before escalation (basic troubleshooting notes) ✅ Monitoring Tasks - Reporting back with links + short notes (what changed, what needs action) Tools I’ve used (and what I use them for) - Google Docs (Advanced): updating documents, formatting, structured notes, clean handoffs - Google Sheets (Intermediate): trackers, lists, basic formulas, cleanup, consistent formatting - Google Drive (Advanced): folder structure, file organization, sharing permissions basics - Google Calendar (Intermediate): scheduling, time coordination, appointment planning - Email / Gmail (Advanced): drafting replies, follow-ups, inbox organization, templated responses - Airtable (Basic): updating records, simple views, light data entry/cleanup - Hootsuite (Basic): drafting/scheduling posts, organizing content in a queue - Google Forms (Intermediate): creating forms, rewriting questions to match fields, cleaning flow for users - Canva (Basic): light edits, simple visuals, quick assets (not design-heavy work) - Slack (Intermediate): async coordination, daily check-ins, task follow-ups - WhatsApp (Intermediate): quick coordination and follow-ups with stakeholders/clients - Zendesk (Intermediate): handling inbound tickets and customer support workflows (from prior CS work) - Asana (Basic): updating tasks, follow-ups, light project coordination I’ve supported entrepreneurs in fast-moving, high-pressure situations, where priorities change quickly and there’s simply not enough time in the day. In a few of these roles, the founder also worked with ADHD/ADD, so the support needed wasn’t just “doing tasks,” but helping create enough structure to keep momentum. I’m not a “coach,” but I’m strong at helping you stay in motion through: - breaking work into small, clear next steps - simple prioritization (today / this week / later) - body doubling sessions for focus and execution - gentle follow-ups so tasks actually get completed If you need someone reliable who communicates clearly and can handle details with care, feel free to message me and share what you want to delegate first :)
