Mark V.

I have vast knowledge of world poetry and literature—ancient, classic, avant-garde, (post-; meta-)modernism—as well as the trends in contemporary pop culture, and I stand strongly against any hierarchy amongst the aforementioned realms. My writing reaches out to the mumbo jumbos of the good old properly bearded philosophers and their more frivolous younger colleagues such as Foucault or Derrida; feeds on kitsch, and scrap words picked up on the streets; verbalises what is seen in contemporary art house and classic cinema; giggles in unison with the absurdities of the pop. I write poetry for my own mystical entertainment and as a means of perseverance, but would with pleasure submit myself to collaboration since the concept of poetic asceticism seems to me a bit outdated and vulgar. I never broke a tooth at Ulysses, befriended Mallarmé, Proust's sentences are not long but natural, Beckett smiles on us doomed freelancers like one and the same sun in his renowned novel. Will write lyrics, rhyme or no rhyme, album descriptions, scripts of all sorts, short stories, tales, poems after all; and practically any kind of copywriting that your heart may desire; moreover, can translate texts from/to Russian (in case you wanted to write an angry letter to Putin) Hit me up
