Faiz A.

I build and troubleshoot web, mobile, and AI applications. A lot of my work starts with an existing product and a problem that isn't obvious—a camera SDK failing on certain devices, a login session that won't restore, or two requests competing for the same data. I've built Python AI agents that handle multi-step tasks, tool execution, and recovery when something fails halfway through. I've also worked on model experiments, dataset preparation, and evaluation through a Bittensor mining project, using Hugging Face, OpenAI, Anthropic, and Pinecone. Other work includes speech transcription and browser-based computer vision. For backend development, I've worked with Node.js, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and Redis. My projects include reservation systems with concurrent booking requests, subscription and payment management, and REST APIs connected to React and Next.js frontends. I also work with React Native, Flutter, and native Android/iOS code (Kotlin, Java, Swift). I've handled SDK integrations, real-time camera processing, VPN provider migrations, and platform-specific bugs. My completed Upwork projects include Flutter/iOS camera engineering and VPN app development, both with five-star reviews. You'll find more of my React Native, backend, and AI work in the portfolio below. I usually start by reproducing the problem and understanding the existing code before changing anything. I handle the implementation, testing, and handover myself. Some of my commercial work is under NDA, but I can discuss the technical decisions and challenges involved.
