I’m a senior mechanical engineer with 25+ years of experience in mechanical product development, CAD design, prototyping, testing, and manufacturing. I was involved throughout the complete development process, including mechanical architecture, precision mechanical design, miniature hydraulics, mechanisms, CAD, prototype manufacturing, testing, design iterations, supplier development, production preparation and regulatory documentation. The product was successfully manufactured and commercialized for international customers. I consider how components will be manufactured, assembled, toleranced, tested, serviced and eventually produced while developing the design.
