My experience includes: • Draft and wall-thickness optimization • Parting line and shut-off considerations • Core/cavity design logic • Ribs, bosses, inserts, and assembly features • Shrinkage and material considerations • Gate and runner concept considerations • Mold-maker and CNC-shop coordination • DFA and production-oriented design I focus on designs that are practical to manufacture, assemble, inspect, and maintain — not designs that only look correct in CAD. 📌 Reverse Engineering: I can work from 3D scan data, physical parts, STL/mesh files, existing CAD, drawings, photographs, or measurements to develop clean, editable CAD suitable for further engineering or manufacturing. My primary CAD environment is Siemens NX, supported by Geomagic Design X and AutoCAD. I can provide STEP, Parasolid, STL, DXF/DWG, and other commonly required formats. If you already have a CAD model that needs to be cleaned up, redesigned, made manufacturable, or adapted for production, I can work from the existing data rather than rebuilding everything from scratch.
