Grant J.
Professor, Leadership/Instructional/Professional Coach, Editor
As a graduate student at Stanford and the University of Michigan, I studied leadership, teaching, professional and academic writing, and best practices related to coaching, advising, and consulting. I have led workshops on leadership and effective teaching, provided one-on-one professional coaching, proofread and edited, and consulted with individuals and groups in these and other related areas. As a professor at Texas Tech University, my research focuses on various aspects of leadership, teaching, human development, and how to best facilitate difficult and controversial conversations in academic and professional settings. In these areas, I enjoy being able to help individuals and groups accomplish their goals, (re)discover the purpose and meaning of their work, and (re)invigorate and breathe life into their endeavors. I would love to learn more about what you are trying to accomplish and how I might be of service. Please don’t hesitate to reach out!
