Julia G.

I studied at the University of Paris Sorbonne where I earned three bachelor’s degrees (Art History, Archaeology and English Literature) as well as an International Master’s Degree in Film Studies prepared jointly at the University of Roma Tre. I have an extensive knowledge of Art History, Film History/Critic, Literature, Archaeology, and History, among other disciplines, that I have perfected over the years during my studies. I am used to writing theses, academic and technical documents and various articles (blogs, magazines, etc..). I have worked as a writer and columnist on many occasions. I am very comfortable using Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop in my everyday work and am perfectly fluent in French and English with a basic knowledge of Spanish and Italian. I can translate documents from English to French or vice versa, proofread documents in English or French, and write various articles and documents in both languages. I also have built a career in film and video production and have a lot of experience in this domain, anywhere from the first steps of developing a project (feature films, tv shows, music videos) to the shooting of one as well as work in post production. My skill set includes but is not limited to, looking for financing, exchanges with the press and starting the advertisement process of a project. I’ve also dealt with negotiating and handling talent agencies, managing the hiring process of technicians and talents, creating a shooting plan and call sheets, filing employees and managing salaries..etc I can thus help you with any step or aspect of your video and film production, if it’s finding financing, building a press kit for your project, hiring a team and managing reports and salaries, creating a shooting plan or call sheets, or any of the skills I mentioned above that I have been able to develop during my experiences in film production.
