UKG Pro & Dayforce Integrations | SQL, Cognos BI, n8n AI Automation

I do three things: I build and fix the integrations that move HR and payroll data between HCM systems and the vendors that depend on them, I keep production systems running as L2 support, and I build n8n automations that take the repetitive work off your team. n8n and AI automation I build workflows in n8n that connect your apps and APIs and run without supervision: recurring data validation, report preparation and delivery, ticket triage, and file checks that catch problems before anyone downstream sees them. Where a step needs judgement rather than rules, I use Claude and other LLMs inside the workflow. Automations I take on most often: — Order and invoice processing: form or website order into a drafted invoice in your accounting system, with alerts to your team — Lead capture and CRM sync: forms, email and ads into your CRM, deduplicated and enriched — Scheduled reports: pull, check and deliver the same report every week without anyone remembering to — Data sync between apps: keep two systems agreeing, with conflicts flagged instead of silently overwritten — Ticket triage and routing: classify incoming requests, summarise them and route them to the right person — Document and email handling: extract fields from PDFs, invoices and forms, then file or post them where they belong — Monitoring and alerting: catch failed runs, bad files and missing data before your clients do I have run one of these in production for a US business since June 2026 – five workflows, a dedicated error-handler, and 74 automated tests that run the exact code deployed in the n8n Code nodes. That experience is the reason I build for retries, rate limits and API quirks from the start, and make workflows fail loudly instead of silently. L2 technical support and root cause analysis Part-time and ongoing, I provide L2 support for a scheduling and dispatch platform used by multiple US transit agencies. That means tracing live production issues through Oracle PL/SQL packages and transaction data to confirm the actual cause before escalating, writing up root cause analyses for client and development teams, running read-only reconciliation queries to prove what the data really says, and troubleshooting Docker services on Linux during outages. I write Sev-1 runbooks and keep a version-controlled knowledge base of scripts, runbooks, and RCAs so fixes are repeatable rather than remembered. HCM integrations and data Most of my HCM work is on UKG Pro and Dayforce: Carrier and vendor feeds. Contribution files, enrollment exports, demographic feeds, and inbound deduction imports. Fixed-width, delimited, and XML formats, built with custom SQL or the vendor's own configuration tools, through SFTP setup and vendor validation to go-live. Data conversion. Employee and balance data conversions from legacy systems, including multi-entity mergers. I reconcile every load against the client's source reports before it posts, so the numbers are agreed before go-live rather than after. Outbound files for finance. Interfaces that hand payroll data to finance systems in the layout and batch structure the client's accountants ask for, built to their spec and validated against their own figures. Reporting. Cognos and People Analytics reports and dashboards, including the kind of report logic that quietly returns the wrong number until someone checks it. What clients tend to notice: I verify against real data rather than assume. I have caught a duplicate vendor file before money moved, found contribution codes missing from a live file, and traced record-level variances back to their root cause instead of writing them off as rounding. When a vendor rejects a file, I find out why it was built that way before changing anything. I write in plain language and keep clients current on what is done, what is blocked, and what I need from them. Remote, UTC+8, flexible with North American hours. Open to hourly, fixed-price, part-time, and long-term contracts.
