I am a Canadian citizen who has lived and worked in 6 different countries. I am very familiar with different forms of English and cultural norms. I have mostly worked in the offshore financial services industry and have a solid knowledge of the Investment Process from the client and provider perspectives. I am passionate about travel and have visited 50 plus countries. Throughout my career I have taken a particular interest in serving clients and preparing professional documents for training or client proposals and even procedural manuals. I pride myself on clear and concise business correspondence with a focus on the intended reader especially with regard to cross-cultural sensitivities. Unintended mistakes in correspondence can have disastrous consequences. I have an undergraduate degree in Economics and Public Administration and a Masters degree in International Finance. I qualified as a Chartered Financial Analyst. I also have a great interest in sports, current events, international relations and classic literature. My varied mixture of experience and education will bring immediate value to many clients. As a polymath, I am easily and quickly able to synthesize different, sometimes seemingly incongruous, streams of information into a useful and valuable form.
