Experience in research, translation and writing as well as content development specifically in the mental health field. I am fully committed to assist with your project and will be available for regular updates and revisions as necessary. Recently I have been developing online courses specifically focused on educators and therapists working with schoolchildren with special needs. Topics include trauma-informed care and applying it in the educational setting, teaching children who have bee victims of abuse, early childhood development as well as caring for the caregiver to name but a few. I have also been involved with a project focused on content development for an application providing support to those suffering from anxiety following a cancer diagnosis. My primary role was to develop the script for each lesson that consist of a information sharing / teaching element as well as tools / activities for the day. Additionally I write meditation scripts for an iOS application assisting those with trouble sleeping, specifically as a result of trauma. Upon request I assist legal professional in cases of abuse and human trafficking on how to interact with victims. I also appear as an expert witness in court to explain, amongst other matters, why victims have trouble recalling and accurately testifying following a traumatic event. I have been involved in project development and writing in the past and have been an active member of a project management team. I have extensive experience in victim assistance and support with specific focus on trauma as well as training and development of training manuals. I have worked with government departments throughout the SADC region in Africa and have assisted in the development of Standard Operating Procedures when dealing with vulnerable populations.
