Hey there, my name is Tristan. I've been a freelance writer for eight years now. I can write any genre, style, or medium that you request. That includes film, TV, prose, poetry, journalism, or even translation if you'd like. The only thing I won't write is something needlessly offensive or obscene. While mature subject matter is my specialty, I prefer to approach those topics delicately. Here's my approach to the most common genre requests: 1. Action/Adventure- Fast-paced, hard-hitting. I feature protagonists who get hurt A LOT. 2. Comedy- I like smart, witty, and full of visual gags. Frequent Political Edge. 3. Romance- Wholesome and most importantly- NON-TOXIC. Queer leads welcome. 4. Drama- Realistic & grounded. Tend to think of situations with unconventional logic. 5. Fantasy/Horror/Sci-Fi- My bread and butter. My Style: 1. I write protagonists of all backgrounds (race, class, sexuality, etc.) 2. Close attention paid to setting, both time and place. 3. Mature, often political themes. 4. Subtle humor and use of irony/satire. 5. Allegory, metaphor, and symbolism are deeply important to the work. 6. If the plot has monsters in it...even better. If something isn't here, doesn't mean that I won't be able to do it! Happy to meet any client where they live!
