After five years working as a DevOps Engineer, and now freshly armed with a Master's in Cybersecurity, I can finally say my paranoia has some qualifications to back it up. I have become fluent in YAML, emotionally dependent on caffeine, and professionally obsessed with automating myself out of a job. I specialize in herding containers with Kubernetes, battling entropy with Terraform, and convincing clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure, and the rest of the squad) to do my bidding. I write a lot of Python scripts, mostly so Python knows I still care. I keep Linux machines running smooth, and I scan containers like I am that person at the airport who takes their job way too seriously. Some days I am staring at more dashboards than a Formula 1 pit crew. Other days I am explaining SSL handshakes to people who definitely did not ask for that explanation. And yeah, I once wasted three hours of my life because of a missing semicolon. We don't talk about that. I am here to solve real world problems, shift security left, and keep the servers up long enough to enjoy my coffee while it's still hot.
