Investment Advisor | USD 5M+ Equity Portfolios | Ex-Goldman Sachs

I advise private investors allocating $5M+ on portfolios of individual stocks: what to own, how much to allocate and when to change course. You receive a tailored portfolio, documented recommendations and quarterly reviews, while retaining your brokerage account and approving every trade. Already working with a financial advisor or wealth manager? I provide an independent investment portfolio review before you commit more capital, change your asset allocation or sell a concentrated stock position—with clear recommendations on what I would keep, change and why. I’m a former Goldman Sachs equity derivatives strategist. My focus is the investment side of wealth management: a stock portfolio built around your objectives, investment horizon and capacity for risk, with direct access to the person developing your strategy. You may have cash to invest, a portfolio you want a second opinion on, or too much of your wealth tied up in one stock. I help you decide what to do next, with clear recommendations and the reasoning behind them—without making the stock market a second job. “His knowledge base is superb and exceptionally deep, yet he communicates every complex strategy with remarkable clarity and patience.” — Upwork client, Trading Consultation, 5.0/5 THE DECISIONS WE WORK THROUGH • Understand what you own—and what may need to change. An investment portfolio review starts with what you own today. Are different holdings exposing you to the same risks? Is too much riding on one company or industry? Can you access the money you need without disrupting your longer-term plans? I bring a portfolio manager’s perspective to these decisions, explaining what I would keep, change or sell—and why. • Put capital behind a considered strategy. As your investment consultant, I research the businesses behind the stocks and recommend which deserve a place in your portfolio. Your equity strategy covers stock selection and position sizing: what should you own, and how much should you put into each holding? Asset allocation and portfolio diversification connect those decisions to your wider investments, goals and appetite for risk. • Keep the strategy under review. Ongoing portfolio management advice helps you decide what to change—and what to leave alone. At each quarterly review, we revisit the reasons for owning each stock, whether the risks have changed, and whether to buy more, hold, reduce or sell. You receive specific recommendations with a clear explanation, including when and why to rebalance. BEFORE SELLING $90M IN ONE TECH STOCK One client’s holding in a single technology company had grown to more than $90 million over a decade. His cost basis—the amount used to calculate his taxable gain—was only a few million. He was considering selling the holding outright, which would trigger a substantial capital gains tax bill. I developed a derivatives-based strategy designed to access nearly 70% of the position’s value, with tax deferral as a central objective. It gave him an alternative to evaluate before committing to a full sale. Equity portfolio construction is the core of my practice. Derivatives enter the picture when they serve a specific purpose within the client’s investment strategy. DIRECT ACCESS TO YOUR INVESTMENT ADVISER Our investment management process is straightforward: agree the objectives, develop the portfolio, document the recommendations and review the decisions quarterly. You receive proposed holdings, target allocations and trades in an implementation spreadsheet. Your assets remain in your brokerage account. You approve the strategy and execute the trades. You work directly with me and can ask questions between scheduled reviews. The investment advice comes with an explanation of the opportunities, risks and trade-offs behind it. WORKING TOGETHER My standard minimum for ongoing portfolio advice is $5 million in capital covered by my recommendations. Select smaller engagements are considered individually. Tell me the approximate capital you want advice on, what you want it to achieve and the investment decision you most want to get right. A few sentences are enough. I’ll assess the fit and recommend whether a focused portfolio review or an ongoing advisory relationship is the right starting point.
