React Native developer building iOS and Android apps with native Swift and Kotlin work alongside. I build new apps from Figma designs or written requirements, and I take over existing React Native codebases to fix, extend and release them. I work as part of the Matrix Marketers team. Most of my work is cross-platform mobile development; on larger engagements I work alongside other developers, and I have coordinated tasks within a team delivering an enterprise platform. WHAT I BUILD - Cross-platform iOS and Android apps in React Native (CLI), written in TypeScript with Redux Toolkit for state management - Hybrid mobile applications for clients who want one codebase on both app stores - Native iOS and Android apps in Swift and Kotlin - API integration: connecting the app to REST and third-party APIs and to the client's existing backend - AI features inside mobile apps, such as chat and assistant interfaces built on OpenAI and other LLM APIs SELECTED WORK - Sports tournament management app (React Native CLI, TypeScript, Redux Toolkit): automates a tournament from registration to final rankings, with real-time score updates and automated rankings on iOS and Android. - Basketball app (React Native): helps players find nearby pickup games, compete in ranked leagues and cash tournaments, and engage with their local basketball community through real-time, location-based features. - Healthcare app (React Native): appointment scheduling, telemedicine consultations, prescription management, fitness tracking and health monitoring. - Committee app (Swift, Kotlin): a group-savings app for Rotating Savings and Credit Associations (ROSCAs), with transparent contribution and rotation management and timely reminders. - Moves fitness app (native iOS and Android): weekly workout programs for the gym, at home or on the go, with workout logging, progress tracking and milestones. - Looks.ly (Kotlin): a fashion and personal-style app for browsing trends, creating and sharing outfit ideas and receiving style recommendations. - ZuCrü pet-care app: pet profiles with medical records, social networking for pet owners, pet-food recipes and pet events. I designed and developed the mobile app. - Social media app (Swift, Kotlin, MongoDB): sharing moments, connecting with friends and discovering new interests, with social media account integration. ALREADY HAVE A REACT NATIVE APP? I can work in your existing codebase to fix bugs, build new features, upgrade dependencies, resolve iOS and Android build issues and prepare new releases for the App Store and Google Play. Before changing anything I read the existing architecture, navigation, state management, dependencies, APIs and integrations, so working functionality is not rebuilt unnecessarily. HOW A PROJECT RUNS Figma or requirements, then architecture, React Native build, API integration, testing, optimization and store release. I work with startups, founders, agencies and established product teams, whether you need a complete app or an experienced developer to extend one you already have. TOOLS React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript, Redux Toolkit, Expo, Firebase, REST APIs, Swift, Kotlin, MongoDB. BACKGROUND Master of Computer Applications (Guru Nanak Dev University) and Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering (Punjab Technical University). Send me your Figma designs, requirements, API documentation or current app details, and I will review the project and tell you how I would approach it.
