Gillian R.

I'm a versatile and experienced writer and storyteller, with unique cultural experiences living in France, Cambodia, South Korea, and Pakistan that allow me to speak on a variety of topics with depth and understanding. I'm particularly good at finding the essence of a story or content and summarizing it clearly. I think deeply and broadly, and I bring creativity and lateral thinking from my experience as a performing artist. - I write and edit both fiction and non fiction. - 8+ years' experience writing professionally. - I can support on strategy, research, and analysis. - Short and pithy is not my style - I go for substance and depth of thought. I've written essays, research papers, academic papers, novels, short stories, website content, and blogs, about topics ranging from digital arts, humanitarian aid, dance, decolonialism, DEI, management, backpacks, luxury bedding, and so much more. If you're trying to bring out your story or get to the heart of the matter, I can help.
