Senior Full Stack, HFT Quant/Distributed System Dev, C++/Rust/Py/Js

Senior software engineer with 13 years of professional experience across backend systems, full-stack products, desktop applications, trading infrastructure, distributed systems, data pipelines, networking, graphics and performance engineering. I work across the stack and have built everything from web/backend services and internal tools to native desktop software and high-performance, low-latency distributed systems. Most of my recent work has been in trading, but my background is much broader. • Backend services, APIs, databases, automation, data pipelines, distributed systems, CI/CD and production monitoring. • Full-stack and internal applications across database, backend/API and UI layers. • High-performance and low-latency distributed systems for real-time data processing, messaging, trading and production infrastructure. • C++/C#/Qt desktop applications, native Windows/Linux software and internal control tools. • Trading systems covering market data, connectivity, L2/L3 order books, signals, OMS/execution, risk, backtesting and exchange simulation. • Real-time networking and messaging using Aeron, ZeroMQ, shared-memory IPC, Kafka, NATS, gRPC, TCP/UDP, WebSocket, FIX and binary protocols. • Computer vision, LiDAR and point-cloud processing, game engines, rendering and GPU/CPU optimization. • Blockchain/DeFi integrations, exchange infrastructure and market-data services. I built an end-to-end multi-venue C++ trading platform from scratch and led two engineers while remaining mostly hands-on. I reduced internal latency in a colocated CME HFT system from ~8 μs to 600 ns, contributing to a 25% increase in strategy profitability. I have also built deterministic exchange simulation and replay systems, blockchain and DeFi integrations, market-data microservices, computer-vision pipelines, LiDAR software, desktop applications, rendering systems and game-engine components for PC and PlayStation. I am comfortable taking over an existing production codebase or building a new system from scratch. I usually work from actual system behaviour: reproduce problems, inspect the data flow, test failure cases, and verify that the result is correct in production. Technologies: C++23, Rust, Python, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, SQL/PostgreSQL, Linux, Windows, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, Qt, OpenGL, REST/WebSocket, gRPC, Kafka, NATS, Aeron, ZeroMQ, shared-memory IPC, DPDK, AF_XDP, PF_RING, OpenOnload/TCPDirect, io_uring, FIX, SBE, ITCH/OUCH, Grafana, Datadog, PyTorch, XGBoost, NumPy and Pandas.
