Marco H.

I am a filmmaker based in Hamburg, Germany, and available for shoots across Germany and Europe. After completing a voluntary service in India, I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Motion Pictures from the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt and a diploma in Documentary Directing from the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg. Since then, I have contributed to a wide range of projects for clients and broadcasters, including Expo Osaka, BBDO (a global advertising agency), Ruggable (a U.S.-based home décor brand), ARD (Germany’s national public broadcaster), as well as my own YouTube channel, Our Traditional Japanese House. My most notable works include the documentaries MASALA CHAI and SPACE CLEANERS. For video, I shoot with my Sony FX3, a range of lenses, gimbal, tripod, lighting, lavalier and shotgun microphones. For photography, I work with professional flash lighting. Beyond shooting, I edit my own footage in a wide range of formats, delivered same-day or shortly after, with professional color grading.
