Hi! I’m a Midwesterner who is passionate about books. Back in my “music days,” I wrote for many outlets in Chicago including Gapers Block and The Deli Magazine Chicago, as well as ran my own website HEAVEmedia with some wonderful people until 2014. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with my MLIS and a concentration in Archives in August 2016. I enjoying bringing what I learned to public libraries in the Chicagoland area. I currently write book reviews for Horn Magazine, and am constantly trying to whittle down the stack of comic books by my bed. When I’m not at work or writing book reviews, I enjoy reading on the couch with my two cats, trying new beers, working on cosplay, and binge playing video games.
