My most recent role was as a Soft Woven Designer for a large corporation with offices in Switzerland, the Middle East, and the Far East. Based in Switzerland, I had the opportunity to travel, visit suppliers, observe the production chain, and contribute to the development of upcoming collections. Working in a large corporate environment taught me how to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving context. It gave me the chance to translate the latest trends into commercial products, and to travel for business to visit factories and merchandisers in Turkey, Morocco, Portugal, Spain, Bangladesh, and India. My professional expertise lies at the intersection of fashion design—including collection and product development for garments—and graphic design, particularly in placement prints and textile development. What I’ve learned in this business is that every company, whether a startup or a long-established name, faces its own unique challenges. Creating beautiful designs is only a small part of a designer’s role—every business has specific needs. I believe that clear communication is the key to identifying those needs and delivering truly tailored solutions. I have recently left corporate life to launch my own freelance activity, with the goal of supporting small and medium-sized companies in their day-to-day challenges—whether that means creating technical files, flat sketches, collection ranges, or offering supplier expertise. In today’s fast-evolving, oversaturated market, I place particular focus on sustainability, with knowledge and certification in responsible fabric sourcing and development.
