I am a Chemist, I worked in the paint, ink, and packaging industry for almost 20 years, I handles Quality Assurance, Quality Management System, Research and Development, and Production. My skills are quality management system like ISO 9000, ISO 9001 and others. My duties are - Supervise technical staff and determine their training needs. Plan, assign, and review technical department activities. Ensure that the assigned projects are done accordingly. - Develop new product and improve existing products, assist other chemists in their research and development projects. - Meet suppliers to discuss raw materials needed in the project and to solve problem encountered in the products. Make final decision on raw material substitution. - Assure the consistency of production by checking the process and final output. Coordinate with production regarding problematic batches. - Provide technical service to customers in response to complaints and enquiries. Give product and service orientation / seminar to customers as needed. - Act as technical support to other department within the organization. - Act as Officer in charge in the production department which includes production planning, production process, and warehouse management. - Interact with Sales and Marketing to guide resources particularly in product, service and solution development. - Responsible for document management system.
