Before that, I was at Chevron for 21 years. Then I implement it on their behalf and take care of it behind the scenes, so they don't have to! WordPress security is my passion because hackers love breaking into WordPress websites. Over 90% of all website hacks are on WordPress. I specialize in UNhacking websites that have malware or defaced pages and hardening sites so they can't be compromised again. Hardening a site is far more than just throwing a plugin at it. When working on new websites (or a refacing) I take boring we-focused websites and transform them into attractive client-focused portals that visitors understand and engage with. If your clients and customers don't understand what you do in about 1 second, they're hitting the "back" button and going somewhere else. I'm a big fan of Donald Miller's "StoryBrand" technique and I implement that on my clients' websites to engage their audience. 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 𝗠𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 Giving back is hugely important to me, and I've been a volunteer for most of my life. I worked two summers in rural Latin America (Guatemala and Paraguay) as a teenager giving free health care to the people. I've helped build multiple houses for Habitat for Humanity. I've given 15 gallons of blood and started the San Francisco Bay Area's largest community blood drive in 2002. It's now in the top 10% of the nation and so far, has collected over 10,000 units of blood.
