Hello, I am a Pattern Maker and Fashion Designer based in Turkey, with 23 years of experience in the textile industry. I studied Ready-to-Wear Fashion at vocational high school, where I learned sewing, pattern making, and garment construction. After graduation, I immediately began working in the textile industry and have been active in the field ever since. For 14 years, I worked at a womenswear manufacturer, first as a Pattern Maker and later as Pattern & Sample Room Manager. My responsibilities included creating digital patterns, overseeing sample quality, handling grading and sizing, marker making, and preparing production-ready patterns for both domestic and international markets. For the past nine years, I have been working as a freelance Pattern Maker, producing digital patterns for companies both locally and internationally. My work includes creating patterns from photographs or technical sketches of women's outerwear, correcting and updating existing patterns, and providing consultancy and training on pattern making and garment development. Over the last three years, I have expanded my practice to include fashion design: developing collections, creating design presentations, and integrating design thinking into the pattern making process. One of my university projects, a custom digital print design for a shoe upper, was selected by a large national company and is now in production. I recently graduated from Eskişehir Technical University, Department of Textile and Fashion Design, as the top-ranked student in my department and third in the Faculty of Architecture and Design. I am currently pursuing a Master's degree in Textile and Fashion Design to further deepen my expertise. I am proficient in Gerber (all versions), AccuMark 3D, CLO3D, Assyst, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, CorelDRAW, Adobe InDesign, and WeaveIt.
