To move faster without cutting corners, I use AI throughout my process: generating and testing multiple flow variants before committing to one, producing rapid mockups to validate hypotheses early, and cutting the time between 'idea' and 'testable prototype.' The judgment on what to test, what to keep, and why still comes from me. AI just removes the grunt work. Most recently I've applied this to an oil & gas SaaS platform, designing multi-step approval flows, mass-edit interfaces, and complex data workflows used daily by analysts and operators, and building the design system that keeps it all consistent as the product grows. Before that, I led design on enterprise projects for a Big 4 consultancy, and ran small design teams at a Canadian studio, owning process and quality end-to-end.
