I'm a Design Engineer, Researcher and College Professor with experience designing wearables, medical and lab equipment. The approach that I use depends on the scope of the project, I have experience designing from big picture perspectives (how the product will be implemented on services or experiences) to object focus approaches (how the object will function on its own). As a designer I want to create beautiful and useful products and as an engineer I strive to create something technologically feasible and economically viable. - I'm experienced in CAD software. I mainly use Fusion 360 and Rhinoceros but also have experience with Solid Works and Blender. - As an engineer I've worked with multiple manufacturing processes and I'm confident about learning about new ones. Right now I'm an expert on additive manufacture and woodworking techniques. -I've worked with electrical engineers, scientists, researchers, artists and manufacturers, so I'm used to working on a team with multiple mindsets. - A key part of the design process for me is communication, I'm constantly creating presentation decks in order to communicate the ideas. - I can project manage the brief from start to finish, I'm also able to adapt if you already have a PM on your organization. - Regular checkups are important for projects.
