Hello, My name is Raquel Pereira and I was born and raised in Portugal where I still live. My passion for culture, art history, museums and curatorship encouraged me to graduate in Art History with a Master's in Museum Studies. Since I started my professional career, I have worked as a Research Assistant in a project on Digital Art, Internet Art, and Virtual Exhibitions; a manager of an online communication platform focused on Portuguese cultural heritage; a culture and heritage educator; an events production assistant as well as an e-books production assistant; a researcher; a saleswoman; an exhibition assistant or an usher at theatres. All these different jobs prepared me not only to work in different environments and under a lot of pressure but also gave me experience in tasks as different as logistics, writing, proofreading and editing, research, databases, communication or presentations.
