Hello, I'm Fred Voisin — Sound Designer & Audio/Music Software Engineer. Since 1989, I design original sounds, interactive audio engines, sound FX, generative music systems, and custom tools and algorithms for composers, musicians, R&D labs, and companies — as well as my own projects. I work across multiple programming languages and platforms, covering the full pipeline from data retrieval and analysis to sound design and music production. As a tutor and engineer in French research labs (including IRCAM), I've been a driving force behind innovative, high-standard projects, collaborating with renowned artists and researchers. That experience built a strong habit of fast adaptation and creative problem-solving, delivering functional, relevant solutions tailored to each project's needs and audience. I see arts and sciences as complementary forms of knowledge. Since my work often intersects with scientific research, I also take on scientific studies, technical expertise, and publications. I invest myself in creative projects of every scale and ambition, as long as they let me share my know-how — and above all, my passion.
