Kasun U.

I write scripts for YouTube channels that need more than just words on a page — structure, pacing, and hooks that keep retention high from the first line to the last. Recent work includes: A true crime script built on Dan Harmon's Story Circle, with a cold-open hook and strict pacing rules to hold viewer attention through a 15+ minute video Scripts for automated/faceless YouTube channels, written for voiceover pacing and visual pairing Movie recap and explainer scripts, adapted for a general audience without losing the source material's core beats. I also bring a background in banking and finance (Institute of Bankers Sri Lanka), which comes in handy for channels covering business, true crime with a financial angle, or explainer content that needs to get technical topics right without losing the audience. What you get working with me: Scripts written for narration, not just reading — paced for your video length and format Research-backed accuracy, especially for true crime, history, and finance topics Fast turnaround (0–4 hr average response time) and clear communication throughout If you're building a channel and need a writer who treats scripts like a craft — not just content — let's talk about your project.
