I go through sign-up and onboarding flows, payment and checkout steps, and the everyday paths your users take, and I try the things they actually do: skip a step, enter the wrong input, go back halfway, refresh mid-flow. I catch both kinds of problems, places where something is confusing, and places where something is simply broken. For bugs, that includes clear steps to reproduce, expected versus actual behavior, and a screenshot or screen recording.
