Permaculture Designer | Sustainability Researcher & Writer | Educator Hello! I am a Certified Permaculture Designer and Educator specialising in ecological design, environmental research, sustainability writing, project assessment, curriculum development and facilitation. Raised on a farm and around Indigenous communities and small farmers in India, I have developed a deep appreciation for local ecosystems, traditional knowledge and the relationship between people and their environment. I believe understanding our surroundings and working with natural systems is essential to creating practical solutions for more sustainable ways of living. Permaculture provides an effective framework to bridge modern lifestyles with traditional ecological knowledge, encouraging us to observe, integrate and make better use of the resources around us. My work spans both rural and urban contexts, where I develop relevant solutions for different landscapes, communities and living conditions. I undertake permaculture design and consultation projects, facilitate courses and workshops, and develop educational programmes and curricula suited to different learning needs, geographic locations, age groups and local practices. I also work in environmental research, content development and sustainability communication. My writing and research cover subjects including sustainability, climate change, biodiversity, regenerative agriculture, soil ecology, water conservation, urban planning and permaculture. I have contributed botanical and permaculture articles to PermaculturePlants, an open-source plant knowledge resource, and create educational illustrations, diagrams, presentations and infographics to communicate complex concepts visually. In addition, I bring over four years of experience in content strategy and digital communications, including planning and managing paid and organic lead-generation campaigns, analysing performance through Google Analytics and social media analytics, and preparing reports comparing campaign results and communication strategies. I am particularly interested in inclusive education and Social Permaculture. My experience has encouraged me to question conventional approaches to learning and explore ways to create more accessible, adaptable and inclusive learning environments. I enjoy researching, observing, connecting ideas and finding practical ways to communicate and apply knowledge. Whether it involves designing a landscape, developing a learning programme, researching an environmental topic or communicating sustainability initiatives, I approach my work with curiosity, systems thinking and a strong appreciation for local knowledge.
