Lahiru W.

Hi, I'm Lahiru. I specialize in iOS/Android app design, responsive web design, and scalable Figma design systems - with 6+ years of experience helping products go from concept to launch. ✅ What I bring to your product ❇️ Expert iOS/Android & Responsive Web Design I design native-feeling apps for both iOS and Android, following each platform's own conventions instead of a one-size-fits-all approach. I also build responsive web interfaces that work cleanly across every screen size, from mobile to desktop. ❇️ Scalable Figma Design Systems I build design systems, not just screens - component libraries, variables, and documented styles that let your team move fast without reinventing the wheel every sprint. It's an area clients often bring me in for specifically, especially once a product is scaling past its first version. ✅ How I work 1. Discovery - understanding your users, business goals, and constraints 2. Research & Strategy - validating assumptions before pixels get placed 3. Wireframing - mapping flows and structure across platforms 4. UI Design & Systemization - building the visual layer with a scalable system underneath it 5. Prototyping & Testing - validating with real users before build 6. Dev Handoff - clean, HTML/CSS-aware specs, close collaboration through launch ✅ Why work with me Over 6+ years, I've learned that good design is judged by outcomes, not just aesthetics. I communicate clearly, hit deadlines, and adapt my process to fit whatever team I'm working with. My grasp of HTML/CSS also means I speak the same language as your developers, which keeps handoff fast and friction-free. If you're looking for UX/UI designer who can own a project end-to-end, or slot into an existing team, let's talk about what you're building. ☎️
