Optical engineering | Lens design | Optical system design I worked as an optical engineer in the semiconductor industry for five years, focusing on the design and development of optical systems spanning the UV to NIR range, with a specialization in photoluminescent imaging and optical metrology. Recently, I relocated to Sydney, Australia, to pursue a PhD in astronomical optical instrumentation. Over the past 7+ years, I have gained extensive experience in optical design (including Zemax OpticStudio and scripting) and hands-on lab work from proof of concept, through design and tolerancing, to product delivery. My skillset includes optical system and lens design, microscopy, lab prototyping, optical metrology, Python programming, and working with lasers.
