Physician | Doctor | Medical Writer | Medical Reviewer | Telehealth
US-trained primary care physician, practice owner, and healthcare venture studio advisor. I help digital health, medtech, and life science companies get the clinical part right — in their product and in their writing. My interest in medical technology and digital health started early in my physician/healthcare career: at the USC Keck School of Medicine, I was one of eight medical students selected for the Health, Technology, and Engineering (HTE) program. I worked directly with an engineering team researching telemedicine and the real-world performance of wearable medical technology. From there, I went on to participate in and advise many digital health/medtech companies. This led me to become a physician advisor to a healthcare venture capital studio. As a physician, I own and operate a medical practice in New York. So I can speak to reimbursement, workflow, and adoption from the operator's side, not the textbook's. I completed a postdoctoral research fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard teaching hospital. I received first-author published work. I also served as an intern physician at Loyola University Medical Center through the COVID-19 pandemic. So I know what it is like to work in the highest-stakes medical environments. Clinical consulting - Clinical Validation & Evidence Strategy — What does your product actually have to prove, to whom, and how? Endpoint selection, study design review, what a real trial will cost you in time and dollars. - Remote Patient Monitoring & Wearables — Signal quality, alarm burden, clinical actionability, and the gap between what a device measures and what a physician will change management over. - Regulatory & Claims Review — A physician's read on marketing claims, patient-facing content, and clinical language before it draws a warning letter. - Product & Workflow Diligence — Where your product breaks against how clinicians actually work. I run a practice; I know where the fifteen extra seconds kill adoption. - Investor-Side Clinical Diligence — Reading trial data, pipeline claims, and clinical risk for people writing checks. Medical writing & clinical content Written by a practicing physician, not a generalist writer with a style guide. I read primary literature directly, cite it properly, and won't publish a claim the evidence doesn't support. - Clinician-Facing Content — white papers, clinical summaries, evidence reviews, and thought leadership aimed at readers who will notice if you get it wrong - Patient Education — health literacy–appropriate materials that are accurate without being condescending - Regulatory and Scientific Writing — literature reviews, clinical background sections, manuscript support, protocol summaries - Clinical accuracy review of content your team has already drafted — usually the highest-leverage thing I can do for a content program Let's set up a consultation to see how I can help!
