Giulio S.

Born on March 15th, 1995 in Potenza, Italy, I am fond of every genre of comics from a very young age, precisely since I bought my first comic book at the age of six -or seven-. I bought my first comic book, Ultimate Spiderman n°27. I’ve always dreamed of becoming a comic artist and a comic writer but I’ve never dared until now. I graduated in Communication Studies at Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna. I obtained a Master’s Degree Design of Communication: Editing, Illustration and Comics at Fine Arts Accademy of Napoli. I’ve improved my skills in Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premiere, Adobe XD, After Effects and Premiere. My thesis was about a dystopian comic/NFT project written by me and the string theorist Ivano Basile. I’ve obtained another master in NFTs and Metaverse in Italian Design Institute of Milan. I’m also a singer and a musician. I’m actually working on self-publishing a comic/booklet as Ilio, my artistic/music project which includes frame by frame videoclips. I’ve previously played guitar, sang and managed the band Vickers Hardness Test. I was president of the ONLUS association M.I.L.LE. in Potenza. I’ve descovered the importance of team working and problem solving in Dobrinski pro-dischi Records, in Bologna, as a social media manager, PR and copywriter. I’ve worked in Solipsia.it as a radio speaker, content creator and writer. I’m so fascinating by cryptocurrencies and the newest form of narration including the ones that concern the metaverse. I collaborate with Foodicons, for the Lexicon Project, as Icon designer. I’ve worked for many musician as cover artist.
