I'm a mechanical engineer (MSc) specializing in liquid storage tanks, welded and bolted steel structures, and fabrication-ready engineering. For almost two years I worked as the tank designer for an Australian tank manufacturer, designing around 20 tanks from concept through to shop drawings. Today I work as a manufacturing systems engineer in a heavy fabrication plant (semitrailers, excavator buckets, tipper bodies), where I lead robotic welding cell commissioning and factory planning. I know what works on the shop floor because I'm on it every day. Standards: API 650, EN 14015, AS/NZS, Eurocode. I designed, built and commissioned a cam-driven automatic machine running at 60 cycles/min, and I've been designing and flying fixed-wing UAVs for over 10 years.
