Lara S.
Researcher & Statistician
I’m a statistician and research scientist who helps teams make sense of their data — from early-stage startups to global research organizations. Over the past decade, I’ve worked with healthcare, EdTech, behavioral, and public-sector data to uncover insights that drive evidence-based decisions. Whether it’s cleaning and structuring messy datasets, building predictive or Bayesian models, or translating complex results into clear, visual stories, I bring the same rigor and curiosity to every project. My goal is to make data usable, transparent, and valuable — no matter the scale. Most of my work centers on: - Statistical modeling and inference (Bayesian, regression, survival, multilevel) - Survey and experimental design, analysis, and automation in R - Data visualization and storytelling (ggplot2, Shiny, Tableau) - Reproducible workflows using R, SQL, and Databricks/Snowflake Clients describe my style as practical, collaborative, and methodical — someone who can jump in quickly, handle complex data, and deliver insights that are clear, usable, easy to communicate for/to non-technical audiences but still grounded in strong statistical practice.
