UX Research
I'm a UX Researcher who transitioned to the UX field from education & counseling. I was always curious about how human brains work, how people learn and make decisions, so my first degree was in psychology. After the graduation, I spent five years working and volunteering in various schools and language centers in Mexico, Romania and China. A few years ago, I decided to further my education and obtain a master's degree in Cognitive science focusing on AI and Cognitive Psychology. I've chosen to translate my knowledge of psychology and technology into the UX field and have been practicing UX Research for the past five years in academic and business settings. I have various experiences in doing UX research at a university usability lab, volunteering at the UN as a web designer, and lastly for two years working as UX Researcher in a global B2B SaaS company in a mobile marketing analytics domain. I'm comfortable using both qualitative and quantitative research methods & experienced in planning and conducting end-to-end user research and usability testing. When not busy conducting various research activities, you can find me petting strangers' dogs, running marathons or knitting funny-looking sweaters.
